How To Wash Stamps?

A simple way to clean rubber stamps is by using a spray bottle with luke warm water.

You don’t need to add soap to the water as long as you are using a water-soluble ink such as Color Box, Versa Mark, Versa Magic or Brilliance stamp pads.

Spritz water onto the rubber portion of the stamp and dab with a paper towel.

To get ink off of your stamps, you can soak them in hot soapy water and use a cleaning cloth or old toothbrush to scrub the ink off the rubber.

If you will always be using the same color of ink with a stamp, there is no need to clean it. You may also get rid of excess ink this way before cleaning a stamp. Do not soak your rubber stamps in water to clean them. It will loosen the adhesive.

Alcohol-free baby wipes are ideal for cleaning stamps and are a handy way to keep stamps clean during a stamping session. While these may not get into the crevices of the stamp, they are a great way to quickly clean away excess ink before the next color is applied.
