We recommend washing your Dakine backpack by hand in cold water with a mild detergent and soft bristled brush.
If hand washing is not going to do the trick, the second option is to use a “front loader” washing machine.
This is better because it has no center post for straps to catch on.
Can you put a backpack in the washing machine?
With most, the answer is yes. It depends on the material, but most backpacks made of nylon or canvas and are safe to put in the washing machine. (If the bag has leather trim, don’t machine-wash.)

Dakine offers a 10 year Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects within the normal scope of use. Dakine will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred because of loss or misuse of the product. The term Lifetime/Lifespan does not apply to the owner’s lifetime.
